The third IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies (ISGT) Europe Conference is hosted by Berlin University of Technology (TU Berlin) and sponsored by IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES). The Conference will be a forum for the participants to discuss the state-of-the-art innovations in smart grid technologies. ISGT Europe 2012 will feature paper sessions, panels, tutorials, and showcases by international experts on the smart grid. The organizing committee invites researchers, practitioners, decision makers and students, worldwide to participate and submit papers.
Conference Social Events Fully Booked
Thank you to everyone who has registered for ISGT Europe 2011. We have seen a tremendous surge in registrations over the last few weeks, and have now reached capacity for attendance at the Conference social events taking place at MOSI and the Midlands Hotel. A limited number will still be able to register on site during the conference itself, but this will not include entry to these social events.
Over 300 Delegates Registered
With over 300 delegate registrations ISGT Europe 2011 is set to be a successful conference with participants who are leaders in the smart grids sector. We would like to thank everyone who has already registered, and with less than a month left until the conference, encourage those that haven’t yet to do so soon to ensure availability of tickets to the social events which have limited capacity.
Important Information on Accepted Papers
Accepted Authors will be notified by the 31st October whether they will be in an oral or poster session. There will also be a poster competition, with awards given at the closing ceremony. All papers, whether poster or oral will be presented by the authors, but in a slightly different format. The session chair for poster papers will lead the tour from poster to poster and each author will have a chance to present their work.

Preliminary Conference Programme Announced
A Preliminary Conference Programme has been made for ISGT Europe 2011. This includes details on when and where panels, tutorials and keynotes will be taking place. A Participants List has also been created, listing the many different organisations that will be participating in ISGT Europe 2011.
